with Aioli
Wraps are a consistently popular cold cabinet and lunch box options. They are also good for camps, cafeterias and caterers. The combination of herbs, garlic, lemon and aioli works really well. Producing a really flavoursome wrap without loads of ingredients or last minute preparation. This filling will also work in a warmed pita bread.
- 6 Giannis wraps/tortilla slightly warmed according to pack directions
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts thinly sliced
- ½ tbsp oil
- Pre-mixed garlic and herb seasoning mix
- Juice of ½ a lemon
- aioli
- Salad – mixed leaves, tomato, avocado…
Serves six
Place the chicken in a non-reactive container and add the oil and lemon juice and toss to coat. Sprinkle with garlic and herb seasoning and chill for 30 minutes.
Spread the wraps or pita bread with aioli, then fill or top with Salad. Grill or panfry the chicken until cooked. Pile onto the salad and wrap firmly. Secure the wrap with a napkin or greaseproof paper.
Once assembled wraps must be kept refrigerated.
